Haitian Vodou

Haitian Vodou is the religion which grew amongst the slave population of Haiti.  It enabled Haiti to become the first Black republic, and today enables a tremendous sense of identity and community.  Vodou has spread beyond Haiti, and its practitioners use their knowledge and relationship with the lwa to bring about positive change in their own lives, communities, and in the lives of others.
